OSIS Edupoint Contract Completed
The Oregon SIS Consortium contract for a new student information system has been finalized with Edupoint as of Friday, February 17, with Salem-Keizer School District’s execution of the Master Agreement. We will send out information on how to participate early next week, along with an information packet from Edupoint, and clarification on next steps.
We are planning a conference call for all interested Oregon districts, ESDs, and ODE representatives on Friday, March 2 from 10 am to 12 pm, and will provide those details next week as well.
Thank you to all who participated in this effort, and a special recognition goes to LaVon Maskell, Salem-Keizer Purchasing Coordinator, for her expert procurement leadership throughout the process.

Planning for Edupoint Implementation
The OSIS Consortium Steering Committee is currently engaged in negotiations with Edupoint and expects to reach agreement on a contract within the next few weeks. While specifics of the contract and negotiations can’t be shared at this point, we will provide pricing, resources, and timeline information as soon as possible so that each district that intends to convert can plan for the costs that will be associated with conversion.
Districts can assume that the first year of implementation will be the most expensive but system expenses will average out to a reasonable cost per student over five years.
Costs that must be considered are:
Districts and ESDs move closer to a New Student Information System
The Oregon Student Information System Consortium (OSIS) on November 7th announced its intent to award to Edupoint Educational Systems (http://www.edupoint.com). The award is dependent upon the successful completion of contract negotiations. The resulting price and terms agreement will be available to all consortium participants.
The OSIS Consortium will meet with the contract negotiation team this week, and continue to update members as new information becomes available to inform implementation planning.
Please continue to check this website or contact your ESD or District SIS representative.
